One of the major obstacles of chemical loopingcombustion (CLC) with solidfuels is the low reaction rate of solid
fuels with anoxygen carrier.Alkali metalcatalysts can be usedto enhance thereaction rate.In thiswork,thecat-
alytic reduction mechanism of a K 2 CO 3 modified iron-based oxygen carrier by activated carbon (AC) and the
